May love be every word,
every motive,
every thought.
Now
when hurt
rips through hearts
left raw and aching...
May love be a comfort.
Though it is hard,
remember those
lost
now rest.
Whilst we mourn,
May love be a comfort.

Lovely Michele, may the lost one RIP x
This is lovely. I was so upset when I turned on the computer this morning and discovered they'd found a body. I think every time something like this happens now we always hope, and maybe believe a little bit that it can be like Chile. I guess it must be a constant reminder to those guys how lucky they are.
so lovely. xxx
Perhaps I need to explain I live in South Wales now and my Mum still lives in the family home which is only a mile or two away from the scene of this tragedy.
So I will not be approving any comments however well meant that are not 100% guaranteed not to upset any relatives or friends of the people from this community who lost their lives.
I can understand people wishing to make wider philosophical points - but this is not the time or the place for them. I hope everyone will understand my stance on this.
Thanks to those who have commented so far. If people wishing to comment read the poem and take the words to heart there should be no problem commenting - as it says - 'May love be every word' and 'May love be a comfort.'
The commenters I have approved so far are good examples of what I will find acceptable.
You can be critical of the poem by all means - but please nothing but comforting words and sympathy for those who will be struggling to come to terms with this awful shock and who might end up on this page to read this poem. XXX
